Rachel McKay Steele is an LA based writer and comedian. She has studied comedy at the Upright Citizens Brigade Theater and clown and acting with Completely Ridiculous Productions. Her solo show, Shiva for Anne Frank, premiered at the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival and won a Producer’s Encore Award. She received the inaugural Jewish Writers’ Initiative Grant for her feature script Adult Bat Mitzvah which was then on the 2022 Athena Film Festival’s Athena List, and a finalist for Film Independent’s 2023 Screenwriting Lab. She was a Just For Laugh’s 2021 Stand up and Pitch competition finalist and made her Sundance acting premiere at the 2023 festival in the short film, Headdress.

Rachel really does love breakfast sandwiches and has two cats, Roxy and Esther.
